2026 BARTG Sprint 75 Contest

The third of this year's four BARTG Championship contests took place on April 26th and attracted an entry of 81 logs. A further 41 stations participated in this contest.

The rules specified the spectrum segments in which contest QSOs had to take place in order for the QSOs to be valid for this contest. The rules also prohibited operating on or close to the International Beacon frequency on 20m (14100kHz). Several entrants appear not to have read the rules and this has resulted in the loss of QSO points and multipliers. If you see 'Broken:Frequency' in your UBN Report, this means you have been penalised for operating outside of the spectrum segments specified in the rules.

Several stations in the Single Radio All Band sections (SOAB, SOAB100 and SOABQRP) are still ignoring the five minute band change rule. In these sections, once you have made a contact on a band, you cannot change bands for five clear minutes. If you see 'Band Switch Rule' in your UBN Report, this means you have been penalised for changing bands less than five minutes after your last band change.
